Ronald Koeman discussion

That makes no sense? We haven't played ONE competitive game this season yet, the window is still open for 3 weeks, yet people like you want to go flying planes over the ground because we didn't win the Dresden cup or sign messi within the first day of the window, stick a fork in me I am literally done in this thread

I'm fed up with hearing excuses. Everton need serious investment and it's not forthcoming.

I'm fed up with the kopite jibes to anyone speaking out. Sitting quietly on our arses did a lot of good. Feck we'd still have martinez if fans hadn't put the pressure on him.

I'm not suggesting protests by the way. I'm just stating concerns are valid and don't need the patronising responses.

Its not rubbish is it. Also id never have hired him so sacking him is a moot point. Weve just wasted a fortune when unsworth could do better.

Absolutely nothing to suggest that Unsworth could do better, because we don't know what he will do better than yet. So quick to dismiss a manager who hasn't managed a match for us yet.

Mate moshiri HAS invested but am not going through that again do what you want, believe what you want

Manager, yes, no problem.

The owner? No chance - sorry, but he's had all the time he needs to prove he's messed up this window at the very least, and enough time to justify at least the suspicion that he's a fraud.

He may be real and sign players shortly, but it's already too late - his first pre-season as owner of this club is a huge black mark on him no matter what now.
I guess a difference of opinion
I am willing to wait for the right signings, even if it means waiting after this window
I guess you just want people in the door no matter what their calibre is

Moshri is a business man, and he knows and has an appreciation of when to spend money

Signing players just to keep some of the fanbase happy is not the way to run a business or a football club

Patience will be needed as we need to get the right players in, just like we did in getting the manager

Everybody can debate as much as we want. Simple facts are though, on last seasons form we are utterly woeful and need a major overhaul.

At present that doesn't look likely despite all of the hot air spouted.

Everyone would rather have top signings than lesser ones. That´s obvious. It´s not just you who wants good players to join.

But with the squad shockingly in need of numbers don´t you think it might be an idea to revise our plans a bit at this stage? Or how long do you suggest we wait? Up to ten minutes before the windows shuts?

I would hope that the club is currently working on the backup signings anyway.
How long, depends on whether the club feel that the major targets are still feasible. I guess they would have a time frame for these.
I'd be getting a bit twitchy if, with a week of the window open, we aren't close to the targets.
The Pogba deal might be the catalyst for a number of other deals, let's see.

This is nonsense - we have more money than previously - but having trouble lining up the deals

Confident that signings made will be good ones. Koeman, Walsh and Gana all decent moves so far

The overhaul will happen - it has to be done.......

I hope that Koeman now realises what a poor group of players he has inherited.

A seven-game purple patch aside, they've struggled to string two wins together in three years, and none of them are worth bending over backwards to accommodate.
