A 'weapon': 'a means of gaining an advantage or defending oneself in a conflict or contest'Thanks
A 'weapon': 'a means of gaining an advantage or defending oneself in a conflict or contest'
Isn't it a complement to be likened to such an object?
In Everton terms, I guess our biggest weapon is actually Romelu Lukaku........or is it Koeman's football brain or Mishiri's wallet?
I would say instant improvement. It is called self entitlement which has creeped into our Club
We have people who now expect instant success, which is laughable
not disagreeingNo one is expecting instant success. People expect a no 1 goalie and a back up right back. Maybe some creativity in the middle of the park.
Fair pointI would say instant improvement.
The success is a good many sleeps away.
not disagreeing
But self entitlement creeping in again as people expect top signings straight away
We are building, and it takes time...
Give him his due, he's nailed his colours to the mast early with Koeman.Ladies and gentleman, this is what an absolute idiot looks like.
Some whoppers in here at the moment.
I opt more for realismTbh I prefer a bit of self entitlement to the settling for mediocrity of many fans. Had a bit too much of that during the last decades. If Evertonians scream and shout that they want nice things I´m all for it.
I opt more for realism
I see we have money a good manager and a good DoF, this gives us the basis to build and challenge
But we are still way behind various clubs financially, so we still have to build
It won't be instant
I'm sure it's because we didn't sign Eddie Howe, as he's a young manager. The utter freak.Give him his due, he's nailed his colours to the mast early with Koeman.
I must admit to laughing when Southampton appointed him, as I thought he was an awful manager up to that point. I reckon he showed enough there to suggest that he's capable of doing a very good job, though.
You´re one of the bigger ones.
We´ve looked exactly like what we are, a squad of middling premier league players with a couple of frustrated want-away players of higher quality. Add to that the difference between us and say Stoke and West Ham who have squads of similar quality is that our players look absolutely shot psychologically. There seems to be no fight or togetherness in them whatsoever.
