Utd got their 6th win on the bounce today and there's now a 9 point gap between us in 7th and them in 6th, it's hard for me to see us improving on 7th for this season, and the next few seasons unless some serious transfer business is done over the next few windows, but who knows what'll happen. I think the fellas been given a hard time overall and not just about the style of football either but lots of tedious off the field stuff as well, which I've been surprised by, kinda makes it better when we win though.

Think we are well behind some of the teams above us, not just in points but on ability as well. Serious overhaul needed, so if we can finish 7th this season that's probably a reasonable return with the squad he inherited

Exactly. Then over the next 2 windows add in improvements in the GK, CB, CDM, LW, RW and backup ST positions and then we can ask for better.

Koeman was my choice to succeed Martinez.

Why was he your pick? Do you feel you were wrong in your original assessment?

I also fancied Koeman as his replacement. Got to say my faith wavered recently - team selection vs Hull - but in the main I still think he's the man for the job.

Behave, he gives as good as he gets.

It wasn't bullying when certainly n posters could see the wood for the trees with Martinez and we're getting slated for it, getting tagged the second we won a game asking if we were gutted we'd won.

It's just the way it is. I certainly don't want to be accused of bullying.

I know you were thinking of me when you were posting that

I'd say so, a lot of points to play for but all the teams above us seem in pretty good form at the minute bar City who've been a bit dodgy but they all have better squads and there's not much chance of them dropping that far down, who knows though but yeh I agree 7th would be reasonable.. if we can hold on to it.

Actually, his wild team selections are one of the things I like about him. If he keeps putting Davies on the field, he might even win me over

I like the way he gives people a go and mixes it up. I don't like the way he plays Barry and Jags when other players are in better form.

A win is a win and I don,t care how we get the 3pts given our priority should be to get to 40pts asap.

Mind you his quote after the match to MOD should have the transfer heads a bit worried.

"I am busy with all the fixtures we have and maybe the board will be busy to bring the players in."

I never named anybody. If you feel this was aimed at you then maybe there's something there to think about.
