Ronald Koeman discussion

Thing is, the same players who stopped playing for their former manager as well?

To be perfectly honest, I would let all of them go. I do genuinely believe that most of them need to be sold and replaced simply based on the attitudes they have. The only one I can think of who isn't past it/terrible/poor attitude is Coleman. Excluding the new signings obviously , but these players need replacing, or at least enough of them do to send a message that it isnt acceptable to not fight on the pitch. Because we know they can, they just choose not to when we really need them to.

So yeah, I'd say only sheamus should be kept, the rest should be sellable, any club who wants success wouod ship them out no matter how good they are.
I'd keep Lukaku, Baines, Coleman and Gana.

Maybe Kev.

But let's be honest it could just be that the team isn't good enough as a whole.

He's given us something we haven't had for a while.
An eight month close season. Use it well pal. You will be judged on that believe me.

I don't think anyone has seriously suggested Koeman's removal as anything more than a joke. We're all backing him, but our brief and lethargic cup forays, more than any of our bad results in the league, will be a source of anxiety for those of us who already had our doubts about him. I don't think that's unfair either.
It'd be some manager and some performance to pick up this squad from the depths it's been to, to come in and have everyone on board and without doubt.

The players aren't the issue. The manager is a poor fit on current evidence.
But doesn't the league position suggest the same for Martinez also? A good manager can motivate for a whole season, not just cup games.

I'm not claiming Koeman is the saviour, but Martinez was far from good enough either. We were on a downward slope with him.

Our current league position is healthier than what he left us with.

Great news that he's giving those spineless wasters the kicking they deserve. For far to long now this bunch of no-marks we have disgraced this club and insulted the fans with their pathetic lack of effort. The sooner Koeman culls nearly this whole side the better.
What and replaces them with the Bolasies and Williams of this world?

Great.
