I'm not questioning that, But, If he fails to improve on Martinez league finishes over the past two seasons after bringing in 4-5 of his own players and backroom staff then surely questions need to be asked

How can you build a decent squad with this amount of crap.

How many of those were playing yesterday? The problem is, even without the crap, we're still a bit crap with natural born winner's required in order to instill a winning mentality.

TBH i'm sick to the back teeth with the whole thing, Manager/Players/Owner they all need to step up

This is true. Yet he has tried all those players be it a pre-season friendly or proper match. They have had the chances and now Koeman is in a much better position to evaluate and know who he doesn't want and who needs replacing. The summer was poor because of the timing of Koeman and then Walsh hiring. The summer was wasted basically as he had to evaluate in too short a period. Now time has gone by he knows the inconsistencies, strengths and weaknesses of all the players to be able to take action this January and in the summer. Then and only then time will start going against him rightly so to deliver.

Disappointed as anybody with the result yesterday.

We all wanted a good cup run.

But, if there's one positive to take it's the manager's comments.

He didn't blame a lack of transfers for the result, but he said what we were all thinking and once again put real onus on the board to get deals done.

It's a squad game and you need competition in the squad. Who is Barkley competing with, who lukaku coming with? Gana gone now so who competing with Barry or even Coleman or baines. We need players who don't know the meaning of losing and fight till the end. Even Barkley is annoying but I would rather give him a chance with better players around him.

They've done it in patches through the season, signs of what he wants. But for some reason they can't or won't do it consistently. Imagine how koeman must feel when he's spent a week preparing and they can't implement what he wants. It's why he's throwing everyone under the bus, my team my way

That is one of our inconsistencies. Against Arsenal there quality looked like we were going to get hammered because we never competed and let them play. Arsenal are a team full of quality but they too have the same problem with lack of guts and fight. This is why they are also rans. Even we can bully Arsenal but we can't bully the majority of the league.

Koeman was to blame for playing 5 at the back and defensive midfielders at home in the cup.

He isn't to blame for this shambles of a squad, though.

He has been well and truly conned.

Who else could he play tho? The squad is garbage. He needs schnieiderlin now as we have lost gana. He also wants another defender now but our board have been garbage in the windows for years and Koeman reputation is on the line while the board dither. Leicester got a new player in and played him yesterday. But we were winning and the players mentality and attitude lost us the game again.
