Agree. This is looking more like a BK type balls up that we have seen many times in the past. I'm sure Moshiri said he was angered by the failure in transfers during the summer and yet we are seeing the same thing happen again over an apparent unwillingness to add a couple of million more to the pot.
Going by what Koeman has said everyone is aware of what is needed and what he wants so wtf is going on? Moshiri needs to get a grip of BK and RE and bang their heads together and tell them £2m quid is fa. He talks about getting to the elite well he better start making good on his words.

But Mori has played, along with Holgate. Other teams, the RS for examples, play a high press and there centre backs are as slow anything. The signing of morgs is the key

His wage is irrelevant, He was brought here as an upgrade to Martinez and so far he's failed to show that, His tactics/team selection and signings (Gueye aside) have all left a lot to be desired

After 6 months I can't even begin to see what he's trying to achieve on the pitch, Martinez bombed out but at least you could see his plan and what he was trying to drill into the squad

I wouldn't say he was covering his own arse. He attacked others BECAUSE he is the manager. He sees a limited team that needs improving. New players are the only answer to improve the team. He is frustrated at the inability and weak mindedness of the team. The players shot themselves in the foot not Koeman. Our squad is not good enough and Koeman has his targets and wants the board to get them asap. He is pointing out what is needed nothing more nothing less.

We're 7 days into the window. He'll get his players. All that 'It's not me guv' stuff yesterday was designed to deflect from a our season imploding in January at his own hands.
