Why do we still go on about finishing 5th 2 years ago what did we win? it means nothing and this team peaked at that point, we need solid foundations not a one night stand.Hell of a post mate.

West ham did well because of payet who made the difference Liverpool ended 8th in the league last year now thats an achievement! And southampton did well in the first year when Koeman was there so what are you trying to say?? You have to look at the players. If he finishes 7th with this squad he's done a great job.
So he was interviewed on Dutch tv this weekend, possibly today, can anyone translate?
Not sure if the video works in the U.K., it won't in the IOM anyway
Klopp also got to two cup finals.
The majority of that side that is going for the title now are Brendan Rodgers players.
And I think what he's trying to say, is generally when a new manager comes in there's a breath of fresh air.
We had that for about two months.
Right now, it seems Koeman has assessed his squad and gave up on them bar the ones he's signed and Rom.
Klopp got two finals??
EL and the League Cup iirc.
Lost em both either way
Sorry mate, not at home atm. Will try listening to it when I'm back.
I think 7th is the maximum with this squad, the 6 topteams are much better in every position, that pretty clear.
he's doing an average job when we're finishing 9th. Every place below 10th is failure.

You're precisely right about needing foundations, because as Leicester proves -- a one-season wonder isn't enough to keep you up there for the next season. It takes time and commitment.
Well yeah, who wouldn't? But you can't rely on plan to be a one season wonder.I'd happily take being a one season wonder if it meant winning the league. NEA.
EL and the League Cup iirc.
Lost em both either way
So not one single player would get in a top six team? Bollox
What is true is though is 7th is the maximum with this manager (this isn't a major criticism of Koeman btw as there has never been this many world class managers in English football).
Do you really think someone like Lukaku is better than sanchez, aguero, costa, zlatan??? Only Gana has a chance.
