Ronald Koeman discussion

I thought you said you were going to give him a chance? That last statement basically states you are not and that you have already made your mind up. Nice...
He can be aloof and still do a good job. Plenty of those around in football.

My stance is still this: results determine everything. It matters not one jot what I or anyone else thinks about his character. He'll stand or fall on his performance here. now you can't be judged a success or failure in season one, which is why I continue to view any argument that he should be sacked every time we lose a game as madness. He has that acquiescence. For now.

name me another top flight manager in the prem now who has torn into his side and seem improved results
I have heard Alex Ferguson criticise many players over the years from Ronaldo to Rooney. Mourinho did it as well. Yes managers might lose their team and ultimately their job but being critical often brings the best out of people.

I see our victors last week got thumped today. Watford thumped us a couple of weeks ago, but have otherwise been in relegation form and we were lucky to get draws with Swansea and Palace. If we get thumped tomorrow, and I was the bespectacled accountant, I wouldn't give him one more bean of Ussie's dosh.
