If we got another couple of signings in before Feb 1, it would increase the pressure on Koeman to put together a convincing sequence of results and performances.
At the moment, there are far too many holes in the squad to be able to think that things won't continue in more-or-less the same fashion that we have seen since August, and well before that.
Koeman's position seems to be that "nothing is good enough until (nearly) everything is good enough". If he is genuine in wanting to be the manager that presides over a significant upturn in our fortunes, and is prepared to stay to achieve that and use transfer windows to put pressure on for signings, then who would not support him?
On the other hand, I do think that in his time with us so far, he has been rather less pragmatic than I would have wanted. Saying some players in the squad have no future here is the sort of comment that has most folk applauding his honesty and drive to improve, but we'll still have to rely on at least some of the no-hopers for the rest of the season.
