Hibbo robbed a living of Everton for the last 5 years, we got rid thank god, he crap and always was. To say the club treated him unfairly is a complete load of rubbish. I know he moaned after we ended his contract but we should have got rid years ago.Ok, you two are right, the Hibbo and Osman issue was done by the club but it still was not handled well. I just do not see any good qualities about Koeman besides that the players have to at least respect him because of his accomplishments. However, I think he relies on this too much.
I agree. My view is that Koeman can't ban 5 or 6 players if he's not happy with their performance right now - we don't have substitutes for them all. Saying that some of them don't have a future here may be the wake up call they need. But honestly, I'm not bothered if they change that attitude or not, because now things are moving in a totally new direction. If I was one of those players, I'd want to sweat blood on my next chance on the pitch. And that's what every toffee would expect from any blue boy, isn't it? Anyway, we've got someone now who won't allow any nonsense, so those who are not sure about their future, better make up their minds quickly. If we got another couple of signings in before Feb 1, it would increase the pressure on Koeman to put together a convincing sequence of results and performances.
At the moment, there are far too many holes in the squad to be able to think that things won't continue in more-or-less the same fashion that we have seen since August, and well before that.
Koeman's position seems to be that "nothing is good enough until (nearly) everything is good enough". If he is genuine in wanting to be the manager that presides over a significant upturn in our fortunes, and is prepared to stay to achieve that and use transfer windows to put pressure on for signings, then who would not support him?
On the other hand, I do think that in his time with us so far, he has been rather less pragmatic than I would have wanted. Saying some players in the squad have no future here is the sort of comment that has most folk applauding his honesty and drive to improve, but we'll still have to rely on at least some of the no-hopers for the rest of the season.
He got us 5th since then he spent horrendously and the Man U have spent over 300 mil, the fact is the clubs been poorly run for decades and badly managed for the last 2 years. 6 months isn't going to make that gap up. We have an old squad with a few players well past it.I agree. But we were at 5th a few seasons ago under the guidance of what Im always told is an inferior manager to this present one. So it has to be relative to that. 7th with 'a better manager' and more spending does not represent progress.
Because since then Man U , City and Chelsea have spent around 2 billion between themI never thought we were overachieving under Moyes when we were spending about 9th highest budget and we were getting 5th. If that dullard could make up the gap why can't this feller who's got less of a gap to bridge?
When we inevitably get dry bummed later can people not come in here and be all nobbish after the match? You know what I mean yeah?
Lol. Total defensive errors 6 for the season so far!! Someone needs to give that computer a kick. There's about 6 per game as far as I can see. The defence is the shambles it was a year ago.
Were a different animal at home mate. Keep the faithWhen we inevitably get dry bummed later can people not come in here and be all nobbish after the match? You know what I mean yeah?
Are you being serious here? We played our youngest teams in years last season early on. The average age of the first team now is far older. If Koeman's idea of reducing the squad's age average then he's going a strange way about it: Williams 32; Bolasie 27; Schneiderlin 27; Stekelenburg 34; Gueye 27.He got us 5th since then he spent horrendously and the Man U have spent over 300 mil, the fact is the clubs been poorly run for decades and badly managed for the last 2 years. 6 months isn't going to make that gap up. When 'going' turns into 'got' then there'll be no problem.Mad they way Koeman is going to get us to play better with better players isn't it?

Nope. He was paid for the contract(s) he was given by his employer. Nobody robbed anybody of anything.Hibbo robbed a living of Everton for the last 5 years
