Ronald Koeman discussion

And another thought. People going season over?

How about a bit of pride to get back? Ok we aren't winning a cup this year, but ending this season with our heads held high for the fact we have stopped being a crap mid table team and done something. Yes it may not get us champions league football or be glamorous for the record books but least we can have some pride in the team again. See us win some more games than we did for 2 years previously and perhaps, just perhaps, enjoy watching everton again.
Already got more home wins too and it's not even February yet !

I am smiling. Can we not also state that we won't play naive teams like City every week and we need to add the right players to make any chance of getting 5th or 4th again?

Tbh, I'm more secure about Everton's standing and status in the game that I need to do cartwheels over defeating City at home. It was a big win, but I've seen many times before. The only thing that makes me smile more this time is the lad Davies making his name.
Agree we need some guile. All of the euphoria will be gone on here if we struggle to break down Palace. We need a playmaker as you have said. I think Koeman is looking for one.

Dont you worry your pretty little head about this season, after the mess the last fella left us in, 7th is more than an improvement.

Next season though, what a manager.
Good lad. I'm glad you're over the moon with things. I'm a little more circumspect. I've seen us go from 5th place and really stepping up against all teams in this league and it looked like we could make a CL spot only to slide down the table. So I'm less prone to being elated over 7th. It's a long way to go. As Chairman Mao said though - the journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step. Maybe, just maybe that first step was made against City today.

We are trying to add mate its there for all to see, the club is moving in the right direction even you can surely admit that. Whether me or you agree on his signings we are going forward.

But who made us slide down the table ? Wasn't koeman was it !

Ive watched us go from Champions to being 1 kick of a ball away from falling out the league.

But you know what, we finally have an owner who knows what it takes to get ahead in this league, a manager that doesnt panic after a defeat and a desire to get us back where we belong. That isnt 5th, it isnt even 7th, Champions of England and maybe, Champions of Europe.

I've paid my dues
Time after time.
I've done my sentence
But committed no crime.
And bad mistakes ‒
I've made a few.
I've had my share of sand kicked in my face
But I've come through.

(And I need just go on and on, and on, and on)

We are the champions, my friends,
And we'll keep on fighting 'til the end.
We are the champions.
We are the champions.
No time for losers
'Cause we are the champions of the world.
