Err

I sometimes wonder the same about you too mate :coffee:

I'd agree with the above though, and I doubt you'd get many arguing with that sentiment, but sadly, your often sensible points get lost in the meaningless wham you surround them with.

As the old saying goes "if you throw enough crap, eventually some of it will stick"

The Sunday evening service from the church of Davek has been cancelled. The high priest of the anti Koeman cult has been a bit busy this evening wipping all that egg from his face!Although i see one or two worshipers from that cult have now been reduced to bigging up a meaningless first leg win in the mickey mouse cup against Man City last year.lol

we played a game of football against City under Roberto Martinez, we beat them 2-1. I'm an Everton fan, Im aware of the rest of the story, thanks.
Then you don't understand how the league cup works at that stage then. We didn't win anything. If you win a football match you gain something, you either win league points or knock your opponent out of the cup. We did neither ergo we didn't win. We're all Everton fan's on here mate, it doesn't make that first leg any less of a non-achievement though.

Where did this come from? If you win a football match you gain something, and if you don't it's not a win? Nonsense.

I never made any statement of what the win was worth. merely pointing out Martinez did best City once.

If you win or draw a game of football you gain either three or one point or knock your opponent out of the cup or earn a reply. We achieved none of these things. I'm afraid it's you talking nonsense mate. Whatever, if you want to pretend that being 2-1 up after a first leg counts as a actual win that's up to you. Most rational people won't agree however. Your obviously entitled to your opinion, I just happen to find it bizarre.

I've had my doubts about RK but today finally saw the emergence of a synchronicty between defence and attack.
If you look at our goals conceded we're much better than almost all the teams below us so our defence is far more solid.
With great team spirit, kids coming through and, hopefully, more additions perhaps we really are on the way at last.
Our season is certainly not over with 7th possibly yielding a EL spot.
We must consolidate now with more consistency and begin to open up a clear gap between 7th place and those below.

By the narrowest of margins, which was hardly the "bowing out with a whimper" they were described as.

Anyway, we got turned over like utter amateur this season in both cups early doors, so let's not crow about cup exits too much.

I'm not crowing about anything mate, if we dont win the cup then honestly doesn't cheer me up too much nearly getting the final rather than going out early doors, notes got us to semis and a final was still a failiure as he won nothing.
