Everything he says shows it and is designed to motivate the players - no more knives to a gunfight (instead his comments after the Rooney testimonial that maybe our players were overawed by the stadium. Or his comments on or to Barkley quoted in the daily express). Neither is he going to put his head in the sand and pretend everything is fine or phenomenal .
Tactically he is astute, sensible and pragmatic. We will do what it takes to win games.

How do you get extreme from this one single conference? Seriously, what do you base this on? It's not like he's being relentlessly negative, he's just told the truth. A refreshing change from bulls##t Bobby. He's not here as a spin doctor, he's here to win matches. If he's negative all the season and does nothing to change thing's then my opinion might change but so far I've seen nothing to justify this nonsense.
