Ronald Koeman discussion

Big difference in the way we play.

our passing are more purposeful.

This performance reflect the difference of character between Koeman and Martinez.

One talks with sense and coach the team to play with purpose while our former clown talks absolute nonsense and had the team pass around with clear objective.

I like how he reads the game, it sounds simple but he notices the key stuff happening in the match and then plainly mentions it in the interview. Makes a nice change from the peacock dressage verbals of a Martinez.

Okay (he loves his "okay") he did use the odd "fantastic" but I can forgive him that...for now*

I actually felt happy watching Everton and watching the post match comments today. Feels good.

It's a far cry from under Martinez when it seemed like the guy was watching completely different matches to all of us!

Can't wait till Koeman has drilled the fitness into these players so they can play to their potential.

Few more signings and I will be feeling very positive about the season!

Agreed mate.

What I also enjoyed about today was that we put out a formation to suit the opposition and our available resources, rather than try and shoehorn muck into the side to slavishly play 4-5-1. A pleasing start, the litmus test will be next week if Lukaku makes it back. Would expect Williams to start as well

Watch the post-match press conference on the official site - more straight talking. Saying Del and Kev have to work more amongst other things. I really like his direct approach, says it as he sees it. Such a difference from everyone and everything being "phenomenal".

I've definitely noticed the 'ok's'. Just seems like a verbalized pause he does speaking his non native language. Rather it be ok than a bunch of 'um's'.

Wow, just watched his post match interview. He means business and pulls no punches.
Those players mentioned have got to get fit quick and step up
