With Gana back aswell as well as Besic I think the squad is developing versality to play a no of formations/styles to suit varying opponents. When we DCL back we have a player of good Arial ability if we need to be more direct. The futures bright boys.

I mean there was minor interest in Depay and Dafodil, so it appears as tho we are at least looking for a Winger and a SS/Wingforward.

For the price and for the ease of getting a deal done fast, dzagiev would tick all the boxes, would provide goals and create shedloads for Rom cutting in from the left of a 3-4-3, also would bring on our pressing higher up the pitch.

Shame it's hugely unlikely as we appear to not be looking beyond France and Italy atm.

Not often I agree with davek, but I think he was right after the city game. We struggle to break teams down who will sit in and defend. Have struggled with this for the last few years. Ron needs to be looking for a number 10 with a bit of guile, or find one from within the ranks.

Kill for an Eriksen/ Coutinho/Pienaar type player something this squad is really missing.

That doesn't just apply to us though.When teams put 11 behind the ball, allot of sides struggle even the top six on occasions.I think Lookman could be a great asset when we come up against these teams

Playmaker definitely needed. Kev good enough cover for second striker for me. As you said need someone who can pick off teams that put sitting back.

Davies was chosen ahead of McCarthy and Cleverley (and one fo those has now been ditched due to how well Davies is playing), Lookman was brought on ahead of more senior players, Lookman was bought by this manager and immediately trusted, Holgate is being chosen ahead of more senior players - one whose are captain.

Ronnie Koeman has made us enjoy watching Everton again and it's great, amazing what a few new faces and fresh impetus can do. Up Ronald's snakey blooz.

A sense that we are competitive at the top end of the table. Still being in the race for CL football come Feb / March would be good. We need to be winning at Goodison with high tempo football because that keeps the fan base happy. We need to win a Derby.
We certainly need to do better in the cup competitions than we have done this year.
All of this has to be tempered by how much investment will actually get put in. We are still limited by financial fair play rules so the spending will not be as astronomical as everybody seems to think.
Finally I would like to see the new stadium announcement made as I think that will have the biggest impact on the club for generations to come.

I'll sign up to that too. And it better happen or there'll be casualties....on and off the pitch.
