But you have just said yourself, 48 points still to play for, im not suggesting we will get them all, we wont need them all, just most of them.
...seriously, I understand you're elated with the recent turn in form...but form is temporary with these bottlers, and you know it. IF the prospect of actually achieving a CL place came on deck they'd fill their kecks.

Did you consider that countervailing factor?

Hence me putting in the "right players" aspect, if the window was to shut today, we cant do it, but if we get in the required players, the magic and the hunger, then sure, why not David?

Just like they did in 13/14. Year unbeaten at home? Bottled the last game to Sunderland. Got within a sniff of Liverpool, bottled the derby 4-0. Won 7 on the spin when it didn't matter, bottled 4th the second it was in their own hands v Palace at home. Bottled every big game under Martinez and that is something that Koeman will have to work to dispel. This season has carried on the same, bottled our good start away, bottled both cup games, bottled the derby, and now we're winning again when it doesn't matter. Hopefully Koeman will fare better than his predecessors in the key games starting with the only one if note left this season (unless we go on an unbelievable run) the Anfield derby.

Love it we beat Arsenal final day !

Did you miss this from earlier mate? (I hate to quote myself, but it might save time replying to your post up there).

As you can see I dont have the black and white approach to Koeman that you and others believe.

I didn't see that post, which is a fair enough assessment. It's more the other things you've mentioned such as his effect on the Southampton youth system, which IMO is unfair based on how he's been so far with us.

He's definitely failed in the cup competitions so far, but the reasons he's gained a lot of fans is that he's clearly building a great foundation for the club alongside Walsh.
