Our target this season was top seven, and possibly European football.

Koeman said himself yesterday that he wanted a good cup run. It's a shame it didn't happen. He takes some blame for that, of course.

You don't just avoid relegation and then aim for top spot do you. It's small steps and Top 6 is no different to Top 5 in the hunt for a European spot this year.

Our priority next season needs to be to win the League Cup and finish top 6. You have maybe 2 difficult games and you're in the final.
We were on fire before RK played the deadwood against Norwich.

Now they are gone can you believe that Gibson, Oviedo, Cleverley, Niasse, McGeady (and hopefully Kone) were ever Everton players. Unbelievably bad lot that. About £12m in wages a year as well!
