Ronald Koeman discussion

He is making a strong decent team here. The results are coming in and yet we could still play better IMO. Just less than 2 thirds into the season and we are starting to see substance and shape. He is ruthless and has no time for passengers. It is going to be an interesting summer and one we should all look forward to.

I'm not one for looking too far ahead. But it's Middlesbrough V Everton next week followed by RS V Spurs

Could be a pivotal weekend.

@bluestevon mentioned after Stoke mate that the upcoming 6 games ( this was before yesterday) was pivotal because apart from Spurs away we had a bunch of winnable ( on paper ) games and the team above us had games against each other so points could be made.

Taking yesterday into account we made another 2 points on the RS ( that's 8 points gained on them since the Derby), 2 on Arsenal ( that's 3 gained this week ) 2 on Utd which may change today and same with City which may change.

I'm not talking about gatecrashing the top 4 as we would literally need to keep doing what we are doing, but what we can do is get the above teams looking over their shoulder and you just never know.

a win for us on Saturday and the RS will definitely be feeling the pressure.

We have a nice chance to put pressure on the weekend of the league cup final as well as the United v City Derby was set for it and obviously now been postponed.

A good analogy atm is a horse race one horse is miles in front, the rest jostling with each other in a pack, with us just off them and hoping to pick each one off over the last few furlongs before they realise we are even a threat

Also mate after this stretch of games comes the Derby for us at the pit.

For once I think we won't go in already beaten for it, seems to be a new growing belief mainly down the the young lads who looks utterly fearless and the addition of schneiderlin

yep just looking at that weekend then of the cup final, Arsenal, City, Utd don't play and the RS don't play until Monday night.

just got to keep going and put in a shift at Boro and hopefully our extra quality will get us the 3 points.

Recken Middlesbrough will be hard, spurs struggled to break them down

I mentioned that yesterday as I watched the game and they stifled the life out of Spurs. I think we have the players though mate who can create that one bit of quality to open them up and if we can get an early goal I think we'll be able to pick them off and come away with a 3-0 win.
