If he scores the goals that keep them up they will defo spunk the 10m on him.
Usually I'd agree, but they look like terrible owners, flogging Livermore and Snodgrass and then loaning players doesn't give me confidence they'll be paying big cash sums to purchase players.

Yeah this unfortunately. However, I think if he does bag a few then someone like Newcastle would pay the money when they come up, he seems like the type of player they'd sign.

Koeman had the balls to drop our captain who had a great career here and comes across as one of the good guys in the game. Not an easy decision to make but done for the good of the team.not out of malice. You could bet your life our previous manager wouldn't have done this and we'd be seeing keystone cops defensive performances

This thread is so out of touch with the actually reality of Everton. Tons of Toffees on the defensive over Koeman like we are in the relegation zone. Bickering and squabbling.

That's the way it's been allowed to become. Due to the repetitive criticism and all round wrongness.

The man with a plan.

That's it exactly. He makes the decisions he makes for the good of the team and not out of malice for the players.

We needn't feel sorry for the players anyway - they earn more in a week than most of us earn in a year, and they can always go elsewhere and get a game.

You're starting out from the wrong position. Satisfaction is not the objective. Cause for optimism is what we should be looking for. If we hold this position, which we will or maybe even go one better, then that's a pretty good start and a corner is turned. But it's nothing in and of itself. This manager then has to prove it next season that he's worth all the hype.

That seems fair to me. It's probably not though and I'm being negative again and an army of snides are even now bombarding the mods with complaints about how nasty I am and demanding my removal from the site. Wtf is happening to this place when you can't take up a contrary stance without bringing out some Waco type Davidian cult determined to wipe you out?

Don't let them hound you out mate it would be a sad sad day if you ever left this site.
