Ronald Koeman discussion

Yeah but it's taken them years to do that, Liverpool haven't even got close to replacing Surrez, and those sides at the time of sales had more money and pull then we did right now.
Sell Rom and it will be a few years before he is replaced we are very lucky to have him

They replaced him with Lambert & Balotelli mate.

We have Walsh and the Ronkster. If he has to be replaced I have faith they will get it right.

And, we've got more of the monies.

It's difficult, but OK, that's football and we like to play with wing backs

:):):):):)

Sadly, I didn't see any wing backs that day. Not on the Everton side anyhow.:(

It's interesting though that Koeman had the same teething problems introducing the system at Southampton last season, but it worked out well for them in the end too. I'd be satisfied if we emulated the run in they had last season.

Ronnies just been on SSN dissing the Barcelona rumours.

Mind you, he also did his best to diss the rumours coming from Raiola that Rom will sign his new contract.

At the end of the day we have a contract with Lukaku and can keep him to it if we so please. But what should we do if Rom refuses to sign a new contract by the summer, and we receive bids of £70m+ and he tells us he wants to leave? What would you do mate?

I don't actually think that will happen by the way. I'm hoping Rom will buy in to RK/FMs project and give us more time, plus there's only a very limited number of clubs who could afford him and he may not be in their plans at the moment. I just wondered what your stance would be if it did come to this.

...those press conferences must get a bit mundane, same type of questions all the time.
I hadn't seen the news coming out of the Raiola camp mate so was practically punching the air when the reporter asked the question. But Ronnie is just sitting there as poker faced as you like.

Mind you, at least he wasn't tweeting photos like our F1 friend.

I did read it Dave.

What you actually said was "Good post. But". Then went on to explain in detail why his assessment was wrong. Then gave him the Davek mantra on the world of Ronald Koeman.;)

However, just for good order I read both posts again. I had initially read them on my phone and didn't pick up that Pedro was actually responding to one of your posts too, I only picked up the Tony Hibberts Leg bit. So in that regard Pedro put himself in your firing line so to speak. I'm sure he was probably a voyeur of the site before becoming a member so he should have known what type of reply to expect.

Plus there was more than a bit of tongue in cheek in my newcomer comment. I thought you knew me well enough to have recognised that mate.;).

Yep, I joined a year ago and lurked on and off for a few years before that. I have always respected @davek 's opinion, just don't agree with him re RK... but ok that's football.

Trust we all want Everton to do well whoever's in charge.
