Ronald Koeman discussion

I'm asking whether you're happy with what we have up front. That's the logical question to ask given what you stated initially.

So are you?

You've skipped from my original post David.

I said creativity wasn't the issue today, it was the finishing. We only created 1 more shot on target against city than we did today and there were definitely no creativity issues that day

But of course I'd never say no to more attacking quality

Answer what Ian?
God I love you, I was just about to write a huge post reliving this conversation. But I ain't, let's agree to disagree, I'm saying Boro have barely lost at home this season and have the 4th best defence in the league, we created 4 great chances today, that's not Koemans fault that we didn't finish them.

More convincing than you banging on the fraud Martinez of getting 2 semi final medals and 21 wins in 75 PL matches.

Don't just lie by saying give Koeman 1 1/2 year and stick the knife in everyday.
I have no idea what that's in relation to.

I stated that you (not just you but others too) have been unnecessarily piling on the top four expectation levels when it was never going to happen.

Just that. Nothing to do with managers.

Would have rather have seen Holgate come on, and revert back to 3-5-2. Prefer the change of tactic over the change of players first in this instance. Baines and Coleman were stifled creatively today in fear that Williams and Mori would be overrun on the flanks.

But thats not what you wrote Ian, You asked how many other teams have created more chances against them, And I gave you West Ham

Not sure why theres any confusion

This thread. Lol.

I do think he got the subs wrong today.

Rather have seen Holgate on for Gana.

You can only say that in hind sight so that's easy to say. Koeman will probably agree with you now he has seen it made little difference. The point is he made the subs despite us not losing, he tried to give us the upper hand with the subs. If the subs worked would you have been on here saying Holgate should have come on for Gana?

Ok, fair enough, but you STILL haven't clarified where you stand on us bringing a playmaker in.

shows how far we've come since a real manager took over, gutted because we only got a draw / clean sheet away at a tough side to go to, instead of being gutted about being bullied every week at home, and away.

is right ronald.

Did I? I said never say never ONCE. I expect 7th last summer. I still expect 7th now. Nothing has changed. 7th this season is an improvement over the crap of the last 2 campaigns and a good platform to build upon to.
