Boro have a good defensive record this season and we created golden opportunities, it's not like our shots were speculative 40 yarders. We created enough to win, just we'rent clinical enough

That's what some of us are saying mate, we've had 2 windows to buy 2 or atleast one clinical player to add to the squad but for some reason we chose not to and it's not because none were available.

Man Utd drew 0-0 with Hull at Old Trafford 10 days ago and 1-1 with stoke the game before that and they're climbing up the table. We drew 0-0 away in horrid conditions, it happens, get over it.

Did I? I said never say never ONCE. I expect 7th last summer. I still expect 7th now. Nothing has changed. 7th this season is an improvement over the crap of the last 2 campaigns and a good platform to build upon to.
I'm sorry mate but you and @ianefc were birth ramping up the top four talk all last week at least. My point is that it serves no purpose whatsoever, because when a result like this happens there's a sense of deflation. More than that it does us a disservice going forward for next season in that we look like we haven't met a reasonable place this season when we actually have. It presents thatbreasonable place as relative failure.

I'm just saying that when all the top four nonsense is stated it's counter productive.

in fairness i dont see anybody freaking out. im pretty sure we are all aware Everton will draw away some times to teams that aint as good as us.

its a discussion of the quality of our attacking options and whether they shouldve been improved.

which is a fair point and worth discussing after a game in which, yes we did have chances, but looked a bit blunt and without a spark

No deflation whatsoever, a point against a well organised tight defence, nothing wrong with that in my books

There's nothing wrong with it in my books either mate. But when others are talking crazy about CL spots this season it looks like points dropped. And you KNOW I'm right that some are thinking like that tonight.

yes they should always be improved if they can be surely that goes without saying. I think Lookman has given us a bit of that and who wouldn't want a playmaker ? it sounds like stating the obvious to me mixed in with a dig at the manager.

Anything who thinks we were gonna come top 4 is deluded. Equally anyone ramping up an agenda against the manager and claiming this season is anything other than a marked improvement on last year is also deluded.

Lying. I was ramping up top 6/7 since the beginning of the season. I did say never say never in regards to top 4 last week for how many times? 1,2!? Ramping up means reiterating the same issue almost everyday much like you priase Martinez then that's what you call ramping up dave.
