In contrast you should have heard klopp rambling on about liverpools defeat. I know English isn't his first language, but he was just talking rubbish. Koeman speaks honestly and tells it as he sees it.

Well a combination of them was the cause of Marinez having an ace 1st season.

The signs, allbeit early ones, are that Koeman seems a similar blend.

To be fair most managers wouldn't be playing a DM on the right. He should have learnt from last week, We were exposed with McCarthy on the right last, should never have been used there again.

To be fair, timely substitutions were a hallmark of Roberto's first season.

He made several first half substutions when play demanded it IIRC.

His last season and a half were remarkable for bizarre substitutions or none at all
