Ronald Koeman discussion

That poor run before Christmas really derailed our season. Just happened to be our run was worse than the poor runs of those around us, a lot of it down to Koeman experimenting and a lot of players not playing to their potential.

Starting to see that Koeman can play all sorts of cards. The Spurs game was a blip but hey, they are further along in their progression than we are and will look to comfortably in second place this season.

1 loss at home in the league as well, really impressive. Just the old tale of the big away games that's been hindering us for many a year. But when was the last time we had a team where every player looks comfortable in their position? No uncertainty, every knows their role and the role of their teammates.

It's taken some time and it's been a trek to reestablish it. But once again, you fancy the boys in blue against anyone at home. Thanks Ron.

This really is a thing of beauty, lets hope next season the full table looks like this!!

Not always Dave. Seen plenty of examples during the previous regime where going for it all just simply wasn't the answer.

I also respectfully disagree on the second point. I think he's going to get us there, eventually. No guarantee Lukaku leaves this summer, at least from what I believe, he's going to have another go at it next season.

I know this doesn't fit into your script but there we go.
We'll see.

To me it feels like the end with Lukaku. And tbf, he would be mad to turn down CL clubs when with us there is about a 40/50% with him that we get top four.

Sometines you have to throw the kitchen sink on. That's why he wont rack up the required points.

Dont get me wrong, he's proving himself a decent manager in his first season, but he's way too much of a steady Eddie to get us CL football.

I actually think this is the best of him and without the Lukaku colossus to lean on next season we'll struggle to retain this position of 6th/7th.
Give him some credit Dave. He's doing a really decent job. The team is the fittest sits been in decades....Ross still motoring and pressing at 90 minutes. He's building something good, like it or not.
