Or Koemen...We are all Ronaldonians now
This.Ronald Koeman for me is a manager who demands and doesn't appear to have any favourites.
He's shown he's perfectly prepared to rest/drop players who show indifferent form, and he's shown he's prepared to be (constructively) critical when he feels it necessary to remind players not to think they can rest on their laurels or get carried away with media or even crowd hype.
He played at the very highest level and rightly, believes he's been entrusted to take this club to those same heady heights... and given the resources, I am of the opinion that he will do.

And Schneiderlin
...contrast is a comparison to where we were this time last season.

Nope
...equally, the likes of West Brom, Stoke, WHU and S'ton are within that points distance coming from the other direction and could catch us.
The game against Stoke will be an indication of how up for the challenge they are of pegging us back. If Stoke win it they'll feel they can reel us in.
Summed up perfectly mateLets be honest here, he has completely wiped the face of every dissenter on here in the muck this season.
Remember the fury on here about him not giving kids a chance?
Once that was blown out of the water then the new angles of attack started. However he has completely smashed the Barkley myth of "ruining him" out of the ball park too, as he is in the best run of consistent form since Christmas in his time in the blue shirt.
Now apparently we are a one man team (Lukaku)....despite the fact we have more goalscorers than any other team in the league in the squad.
The only thing that can be aimed at him, was the bad run of results in Autumn, you know when he was giving a chance to some of the garbage bought by the last manager to see if they were up to the job, whilst at the same time bedding in some new players such as Williams and Bolasie, who also took unprecedented amounts of stick because they were his purchases.
Defence is massively improved, best home record in how long?
Anybody still questioning him and not getting behind him have serious issues, end of.
I'll give him the benefit of doubt until he gets the squad he wants (and we actually have a "BIG" transfer window), but he has "bottled it" in at least 3 big games this season, and that has left a scar.
I have total faith that Koeman will reinvest the money from player sales well in the summer.
Deulofeu: £10 million
Niasse: £10 million
Cleverly: £8 million
Mccarthy?: £12-15 million?
Lukaku?: £85-100 million
Barkley?: £30-35 million
If those leave we could have £150-180 million to reinvest in the squad. Personally I think Ross will stay but all the others go and I trust RK to mould the squad well.
Walsh needs to earn his crust this window, hit and miss so far tbf
