want us to make a good go at a cup next year whether it be FA, League or EL. cup runs this season, if you even want to call them runs, were dreadful

Pullis, Big Sam and the early Moyes for that matter showed it is 'relatively easy' (for a given value of relative and easy) to get from 17th to 7th. You then need a big geometrical progression type leap of nouse, money and luck ( 1, 2, 4, 8, 16 etc) to get to 5th and yet another to get to consistently 4th+
Paradoxically (IMO) It might not be as big a leap from 3rd to 1st as it is from 6th to 4th - as you should most of the foundations in place.

The easy one is 17th to tenth......behind the top six/seven there is a little group of clubs who are the Prems genuine 'mid table' clubs. Its the first sort of position that newly promoted clubs aspire to...Burnley maybe and Bournemouth are 'getting there' but aren't established....yet. We will be the next regular top 4-6 team,we maybe already are, with a group just below us including West Brom, possibly Stoke and Newcastle if they strengthen . I think Brighton could struggle in the Prem...nice footballing side but a bit lightweight.

Ok Einstein, answer me this.

A bat and a ball cost one dollar and ten cents in total. The bat costs a dollar more than the ball.

How much does the ball cost?

Personally think the improvement has been massive and were only on the up, he's done well to plug the holes that Martinez had left and were on the up, he's a good manager clearly and he knows what he's doing.

The summer recruitment is key, were clearly the best of the rest outside of the top 6, but we want to be the best of the best but that isn't going to be a matter of days It will take seasons.

Away form does need to improve but with better players it will, I'm excited for the summer and European footy
