What's the point of that presser.

Ronnie rebuffed the interesting questions.

The only thing that came out of it was that Kenny is playing for U23 tomorrow then on the bench Saturday.
And,
We need to play better away from home.

Informative.

His best presser as Everton manager was defo the one when he read that pre prepared statement about MON and Ireland.

That was class.

The summer will be defining in terms of Moshiri's vision and ambition for the club in the medium-term, and the clubs ability to execute their plans successfully.

We had a few occasions in the past where we could have kicked on under Moyes, in an environment much less competitive than nowadays. We suffered from a deadly combination of a manager and board unable to challenge the status quo, and unwilling to find ways around it.

I think Koeman has done well this season, to take an analogy I think the club was seriously ill on the pitch in the 2 seasons prior, we are now stable and show definite signs of improvement.

I don't doubt that Koeman is eager and able to drive the club onwards and smash that glass ceiling above us. But we really need delivery this summer. We need quality and quantity. All the goodwill and fighting talk in the world will not compensate for failure to deliver in giving RK a squad good enough and big enough to compete.

I am happy with progress on and off the field but things need to be accelerated in the summer. If it's another disappointment then the inevitable conclusion will be that either through choice or circumstance, they did not step up when it mattered.

what exactly are you expecting in a pre-match press conference?

I agree with your post except the above. I would say we suffered most from having little money to invest in better players.
We have more now but so does everyone. We'll need far more investment if we are to step up and compete with CL teams during RK's contract.
If the money isn't there we'll need to build Spurs like over several seasons. We'll have to get lucky and SW will have to up his performance considerably. In that case it'd be the manager who followed RK who'd benefit most.

Here's a good question, do we sack him if this time in 12 months we are still 7th and without a trophy? I'd have to say yes, all hypothetical of course

Are we in the top 6 spenders in the league?

Answer: No

Does sacking a manager who doesn't finish in the top 6 when he doesn't have the same financial backing as the teams that do make you look stupid.

Answer: Yes.
