Exactly
He changed formation against Stoke and admitted he got it wrong first half
He changed it again last night when it wasn't working
At least he's tactically aware and not afraid to call himself wrong
Our previous manager persisted with the same tactics wether we were winning losing or drawing.
It's how we compensate for Morgan missing that interests me.
Maybe A complete surprise in store there
Probably play DCL there ... ;-)

And yet Moyes took dogs abuse for years for having a small time mentality ??

Come on mate, Moyes had a decade of shaping his squad, Koeman has had a year. There's a massive difference there, not to mention the fact Koeman brought 2 attacking midfielders on whilst taking a defender off. Moyes would have been delighted with that result, Koeman certainly wasn't.

Your comparison really doesn't work

Look at you at it again.

1 season the guy has had! 1 season in which he steadied a sinking ship and took us back into europe at the first time of asking and made Goodison a place we were hard to beat again.

I am all for sensible debate, but you really come across as a proper old bitter nag for some reason about Koeman.

If you don't like him then fine, but like most I expect, I find the constant sniping at a man who basically has yet to mess up a bit of a weird obsession, rather like the other major crank on the forum, it really isn't healthy mate!

I was surprised and impressed with the way City pressed us for the 90 minutes. Very rarely did we have a player with time on the ball and that includes Pickford. They were all over us like a rash. We couldn't string many passes together due to this high intensity pressing. We still require better movement off the ball and play in 4's and 5's rather than 2's and 3's. Feel it will come once the players gel a bit more but very pleased with our defensive solidity at the moment.
You know you've got a good player when the press doesn't work. There were a few times second half when they tried to clos Rooney down, and he just turned and then turned again, keeping hold of the ball. Delightful

Bonkers comment. Moyes had 11 years and hit the 'glass ceiling' within 5, did great stabilising us but proved he couldn't move us on. Koeman has been here a year.

There's no way you can compare both, the funds both had are miles apart. It's quite ironic that a lot of the money we brought in last season was actually another one of Moyes' cheap signing in Stones.

I know people are a bit cautious because Martinez had a great first year, as did Koeman, but I don't see how Koeman can come in for any stick yet. He's started the season off unbeaten in 4 games. If he's getting stick Now, I can't wait to see the reaction after a bad run.

The difference is Koeman proved that he can do it in PL for a tight budget and got 6th and 7th at Soton.
