If he's got his eye on the Barcelona job at the end of his contract, he'd better get his arse into gear quickly.
Problem for me with this is we are supposed to have a squad now to be able to cope with this and rotate. Or at least we would have if we didn't decimate it by selling Barry without replacing and leaving Mirallas out etc.I expect a much bette showing against Man U. Let's not forget we were decimat d with injuries and sandwiched in a crucial game at a melting pot the other side of Europe in between the two most difficult away games of the season, and lost 2-0. Owed played city Saturday it would have meant the squad flying out M
yes that's the way it turned out.but if they hadn't been so tired we'd have put up a better show
Sacking our manager is not a decision that should be taken so lightly. I have seen absolutely nothing so far that justifies even mentioning sacking Koeman. The goals we have scored so far haven't been lucky at all. Both our league goals have been fine and we've been full value for both our win Vs Stoke and our draw against Man City. Yes we were poor vs Chelsea but that doesn't even come close to warrant talking about sacking a manager for that.I could see this may happen. Actually, we are very passive in last premier games and scores with quite lucky goal only...
If this performances still continue even we are in middle, RK would also deserve to be sacked.
Don't understand this though, obvious his past with Barcelona yeah... but Koemans football is the exact anti-football of what Barcelona play.If he's got his eye on the Barcelona job at the end of his contract, he'd better get his arse into gear quickly.

When we got tonked 5-0 funnily enough our best player was a young lad who had nothing to lose (Davies). Would have been ideal to give one of the young lads a run out ie Lookman or something.

They've been after both Rooney and Sigurdsson for months. They obviously disagree with you and frankly, so do I. They fit in rather well together. Get a better CF and I think that'll be apparent. Think Ross can fit in with those guys, too, but wonder if we'll ever see that.Which brings us full circle back to the original point...
Why do Sigurdsson and Rooney pick themselves? Do they complement eachother's skillsets in games like the one on Sunday? I don't think they do. The discussion related to whether we are picking a balanced team which works as a unit, or just shoehorning players into the side. I think you've just backed up the argument that it's the latter.

Sure, it was frustrating, but the lack of consideration of the rational behind the tactics is annoying. 3rd game in 6 days, several members of the first team out or unavailable, other members not fully fit and certainly not used to playing together, defending champs away, Ronnie was going to park the bus a bit. It's not some blueprint for the rest of the season.I don't understand why some can't get this point. I don't think anyone is overly bothered about losing at the Bridge, it's the manner of it which grates on people, that's the way I see it anyway. Not criticising the start to the season at all, we are ok even if performances aren't great just yet.
What would the point be in sacking him for repeating last season? He won't walk because were could he go better then us right now and make as much money? And why would we sack a manager with only one year left running on his contract by the end of this season for having a ok to mediocre year? It took 18 months of rubbish for Martinez to finally get the push and it will take a similar amount of time and run of form for Koeman to go.Hmmm we'll see. I doubt he wont do well to be honest but if we have the same season as the last he may walk or golden hand shake out
