RK has a big job on his hands to reverse our previous manager's influence; but I am confident he is up to the task.

Indeed, he really has a massive job to start with, getting the players onside quickly is key, a change in style of play and a clear direction in what he wants/expects from each player will work wonders hopefully. If players aren't pulling their weight, I doubt we'll hear the word phenomonal passing his lips.

Made up about this news today, one thing, anyone think we might of handed him a longer contract then 3 years? Was a bit suprised about that after we gave Martinez a five year one?

Wonder if there will be an option already in place to make it longer if his first season is a success.

There's no point, he won't be here beyond two. He'll be sacked or be off to manage Barcelona.

He's an absolute hero at the Nou Camp - all he has to do is be moderately successful to land that job in a few years.
