!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He's already been tapped up by Barcelona lol
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gucci ain't never lied.
This is the first time the press have had to question him on the overall crappness of the team, so they seemed to go quite easy on him.
I'm sure the questions will get harder if things don't improve very quickly.
I guess he likes the local courses, trying his best to keep his job.
Unfortunately the press and especially the local rags wouldn't dare put a manager on the spot as much, as they tend to get bared from the press conferences if they ask difficult questions....the questions at those press conferences frustrate me. Why not ask;
You seem to change formations on a regular basis, when you were purchasing players in the summer what team model was it based on?
Teams who play with a back 3 usually employ offensive wing backs who attack the opposition back four and create. Do you use Holgate and Baines to protect CBs you feel need defensive support?
Your team is dreadful for supporters to watch. Why is there no width to get around the back of opposition defences and create, and also no width in defensive areas leaving so much space for teams to exploit?
You say you missed out on your prime striker targets, in hindsight did you wait too long to acquire the likes of Giroud; and was there a dependency to bring monies during the final days of the window?
You get the impression if Koeman was sacked tomorrow he really wouldn't be arsed
Amongst other things, half jokingly said that if the board wanted to change the manager, he'd want compo same as Martinez.
if the manager and squad need clear the air talks, the air never really clears 100%. just prolongs the inevitable.Perhaps the player meeting this afternoon will clear the air.
If things need to be said, then get them said and into the open.
A roomful of millionaires should be able to talk openly and air their grievances and then get on with what they are paid handsomely to do, starting by showing some bloody effort.
One would argue that making sure players have the right attitude is pretty much vital to a managers job like.
What a time for Ronald Koeman to be alive
He does give the impression that failure at EFC would not be a major setback in his life. He has set his brother up on a nice-earner
and 6 million for a manager who has achieved nothing managerially is a nice piece of work. He would be sure to get a job in Holland and could start the managerial round-about off again.
Lets imagine that we have a dud season and RK loses support, the club will have little option other than coughing up millions to the Koeman Clan.
Next manager that comes in will want him out, so it's pointless...these blokes are all on an ego trip. If Koeman eventually gets the sack, there's no reason to give his brother a red card. Keep him as a coach and let him leave under his own steam.
