Ronald Koeman discussion

You lost me right there, Gwladys :(

If, as is very possible, we are bottom three by the time Burnley leave Goodison going into the next international break then Mr. Koeman will be history round these parts.

Stop torturing yourself by thinking it won't happen ;)
I'm afraid it's you who's torturing yourself if you seriously think that the powers that be at Goodison would ever take such swift action. They probably spend the first hour of every board meeting taking a vote on if they should thank the tea lady or not! The incompetent fools who run this club will drag their heels for mouths on such a decision.

I'm still not quite in the Koeman out club yet (though I'm very close atm) but id rather the club made a decision sooner then later.;)

Lookman was awful in his last game. RK rightly has given him a break from the pressure.
Maybe he was trying to protect the lad but for me, he's way too knee jerk. Holgate being swapped out for Martina is an example. It seems to me that, with so many new players, he should stick to a fairly regular first XI and gradually introduce new players, yea, we'll still get battered here and there but it seems like a better way of getting the team to gel, as opposed to changing a ton of players, the formation and the tactics every single game with players who don't know each other.

Phil Jagielka's after match interview was far worse than anything Koeman said.

'Saved ourselves being embarrassed in the second half'. Jesus Christ.

Anyway, it just backs up my point that I'm not sure some of these players give a damn about the whole thing. They're getting their money so whatever happens happens. They do not love Everton.

However, it all goes back to the manager eventually.

We desperately need this type of mentality shifted out of the club if we are wanting to genuinely compete at the top of the table.

I am not fully in the "Koeman out club" either.

Although I hold no great hopes for him as a manager.

The last thing I want to see is a revolving door for managers.

It is just I am much more realistic than you and firmly believe that if this dross continues any longer the board will act within the next month.

They will have to :)

I don't see how you can say it's realistic to expect the club to be so decisive. When have they ever been quick to act on such a big decision? I'd say it's far from realistic to expect them to do so now mate.

Playing people in their correct position would help as well. Holgate isn't a right back anymore than Stones was, but plays better in the centre.

Given that we have a question mark over Williams (especially) and Jagielka, and a right back in Kenny who deserves a chance, it shouldn't be rocket science to try Holgate at CB and Kenny at RB when the players who have been tried in those positions do not cut it.

Then you have the whole Sigurdsson on the wing phenomenon, without anyone to play the ball to.

Stoke H
Man City A
Tottenham H
Chelsea A

Putting it in the context of 4 difficult games, our points tally could be worse. Bad performances though.

I mean... BIG RED MOONHEAD OUT

If the plan is to build a nice shiny new stadium on the waterfront, then sell on for a tidy profit (which is what Moshiri is here for), having a team competing at the higher end of the table will be a must. Any hint of it going tits up on the playing side wont, and can't be tollerated as long as in previous years. A continuation of our current form beyond Sunday must see decisive action (for a change).

Yesterday was more alarming though.

That said, they did finish 4th in Italy last season, so were obviously not too shabby a side. But from the limited bits I saw, we were terrible.

We'll Mosh didn't take that long to off Roberto to be fair - despite us being in the lofty heights of mid- table.
