Ronald Koeman discussion

I am not fully in the "Koeman out club" either.

Although I hold no great hopes for him as a manager.

The last thing I want to see is a revolving door for managers.

It is just I am much more realistic than you and firmly believe that if this dross continues any longer the board will act within the next month.

They will have to :)
Could be right, with the money that was invested they might be more likely to wield the axe. I doubt they're expecting top 4 but I reckon the minimum this season is a trophy and to push for 5th or 6th and at the minute it's not looking great, add that to the fact that if we lose to United it'll be our worst away run of form in 13 years, which would be the season we've finished 17th yeah? The old Everton I'd say would wait til they couldn't anymore and write the season off but with the money invested, Moshiri here now and the targets for the season, I just think the board will be less forgiving this time.

We'll Mosh didn't take that long to off Roberto to be fair - despite us being in the lofty heights of mid- table.
The collapse of Martinez didn't happen overnight. We'd been shocking for the best part of two seasons under El Fraudo. Koemans situation and Martinez is nothing alike apart from the fact that they're both crap.

For me it's not necessarily the results that have me so annoyed as we did have difficult games but the performances since the second half against City have been absolutely woeful! That is what is extremely worrying. No attack and don't look like scoring ever and all of a sudden we can't defend like when we had Martinez. Don't see us beating anyone at the moment unless he is willing to change his formation and tactics. Changing personal isn't working when he keep the same formation and tactics, we need width and pace badly.

I appreciate the mans honesty. He said he is worried and he has acknowledged that there is problems. At least Koeman is honest and upfront.Unlike his predecessor. Both Koeman and the players need to produce the answers sooner rather than later though.Starting at Old Trafford this weekend.

We desperately need this type of mentality shifted out of the club if we are wanting to genuinely compete at the top of the table.

Yeah what im going to say here is very harsh. But Jags comments are typical of the loser mentality that has been the hallmark of this club post 1995.Jags has been a good servant to Everton. But he was speaking as our captain with those comments. The captaincy should have been stripped off Jags in the summer. It's very telling that it hasn't imo.He still has something to offer as a player. But we need a new captain imo.A proper leader who can inspire people on the pitch.I think the role is made for Seamus Coleman when he get's back in the team.
