Koeman last transfer window..

I would say there was pressure enough on him.

We were in a terrible rut then.....one win in nearly three months or sommat.

The football was awful and young Tom gave us a shot in the arm.

He won't "stop us losing" against United, you say.

Maybe he could help us win there instead.

It ain't like he didn't sparkle against another Manchester team during our best display last season.
I fully expect us to get battered against Manu. I think Davies and Kenny would be better off missing out on that mauling so they can help us recover from it rather than have their confidence ruined as well.

I actually agree with Koeman keeping the U23s out of the starting 11. Even if we were flying this would be a very, very tough game. So I think he's doing the right thing protecting them.

That said... if Davies and Lookman aren't on the bench for United then I'll fume.

After United the next three games are Bournemouth Sunderland and Burnley all at home.We need to aim for 9 points from those three games. If the rot is still continuing after those three fixtures, then Koeman will really be feeling the heat.

They're not. Martinez inherited a strong defensive team, which he ruined in the 2nd season and onwards.

Koeman inherited a team of players who were majorly unfit, didn't know what defending was and lacked motivation.
And in this season now.. Koemans team look as though they are majorly unfit, not knowing how to defend or attack, and lacking motivation
