I'm starting to think he wants to get sacked...

I made the point weeks ago that it appeared he was trying to send a message to the board with his lineups. The window is over and he is still rolling out with the white flag before it begins.

The result doesn't match how we played in the second half, how they played over the 90mins and nor does it warrant calls for his departure.

It's dispiriting but not that bad! Let's see how we play in our upcoming run of home games and then we can see what we should be calling for.

Disagree. That was typical Mourinho, goal up sit on it. We huffed & puffed, but never stretched them.

That was always going to be the danger of integrate a new group of players whilst having such a difficult run of fixtures.

I did not expect a lot more than 4 points from the first 5 but the performances are really worrying and the line-ups bizarre.

Today for example how can you play such a deep compact game when you carry no threat on the counter?

The performance wasn't that bad today... But when you can't score and you're making mistakes down the other end the writing is on the wall against the top sides.

Some good performances today Davies Morgan Rooney Martina but the williams mistake killed the game .Not sure koeman will last, dont think he has the right players in the squad to win enough games to get to the January window

So you're telling us Koeman didn't want Rooney, and a target man would've stopped us shipping 10 goals in our last 3, all in which we played awfully with awful tactics?

If we had a proper out and out striker we wouldn't of lost that game. Yes I agree his team selections would suggest that he was have a dig at the board but they didn't deserve that hammering in the end today.

Better from the players until he ruined it all with some bad choices for the substitutions. Rooney should have been the first off.

His stubbornness does my nut in! Plays no pace at all. Always the wrong tactics. Not taking players off who are playing badly over lads like Davies who was having a cracking game. Utter pathetic. 2 massive games coming up for him but I would sack him now as don't see how it gets any better. He has lost the players to me.

We were only playing better because man u were sitting back and relaxing at 1 up.

That's bull.

Rom just said Everton were causing them issues in midfield.

We played very well between the 10th and 70th minutes.

The difference was two massive chances that we missed. They took their chances at the end.

Koeman's decision to take off Davies didn't help, but the game boils down to two of our better players not taking relatively easy chances.

If we lost 1-0 with that performance up to 80 mins, I'd have accepted it and looked ahead with a bit more confidence.

But those substitutions, Williams' blunder and the total capitulation thereafter shows that we're headed in the wrong direction. The capitulation in particular shows the lack of fight, leadership and commitment amongst the players.

These results are simply unacceptable now. We're whipping boys.

Criminal from Koeman not taking a defender off instead of Rooney for the last 10 mins. The absolute Everton irony of Williams making the error for the second goal when he should have being making way for Kev instead of Rooney.
