Ronald Koeman discussion

The difference is Burnley defend all game, and score a goal from a long punt forward. We on the other hand try and play football. If we played like Burnley people wouldn't be happy- Moyes tried and we got called negative.
Stupid comment, do you even watch us or any football for that matter, we are the most dull and boring team in the premiership, face reality fgs

Ive been trying to think who could be a tempory number 9, years ago teams use to put a defender or midfielder up top I remember one Paul Warhurst scoring a fair few for Sheffield Wednesday I think he actually got an England call up. What we are doing certainly isn't working.
Yeah we stuck Cahill up top in dire times under Moyes - Rooney would be the equivalent but he clearly has a free role.

The thing is that Bournemouth and Burnley both have a system and a set starting eleven.

EFC have nothing like that. It could be a really dicey few months. Especially as RK's tactics are two bob...

Starting without a winger and no number 9 is a suicide note. Yet he keeps doing it...

Wed 20th Sunderland
Sat 23rd Bournemouth
Thu 28th Apollon Limassol
Sun 1st Burnley

Next 4 games, all at home, he gets the results and saves his job, he fails and loses his job, somehow he is lucky since i think we will get the results (wins) and he keeps his job

Definitely the next four home games will be key ,results and performances have to be good

How is it a stupid comment? Burnley obviously play a certain brand of football that has been effective until now. Let's see how they're doing in May though?

Let's hope we miraculously slip through the Europa group stages and none of the decent teams fall out of the champions league and enter the competition to thwart us on our way to a cheap champions league birth :p

We have lost our two best attacking players and had some really difficult fixtures though... I think it's understandable to an extent.

You say Lukaku is a decent player. Bloody hell, he's an absolute goal machine. We'd be happy with half the player up top.

Backwards ! Sugar coat it all you want.

Someone pull up the stats of our shots on target in the 8 competitive games we've played so far this season.

That'll tell you the togger we are playing.

I've defended Koeman for a long time, but enough's enough. We are on course for a relegation battle currently, and we've barely had a shot on goal in 4 games.
It's not good enough, I genuinely think we should give it Unsworth

Worryingly very much like Martinez ,strange team selections , unable or unwilling to change a system that isn't working, and players wanting to jump ship.
Don't think he is in danger of the sack but he has a lot to do to turn this around and restore some faith in him.

If he does last that long, I think things probably will improve as the players will get some better experience playing together against weaker teams. But I'm still not to sure Koeman is right for us.
