I think we more of less deserve a point pre the Williams error. Rooney and Sigurdsson' chances. We had simply no luck. And I agree, the team needs to pick up wins after today. No more excuse against Sky6 teams now.

I don't want any more papering over the cracks like last season when we went on a decent little run and made it look like our squad was fine. It was a complete mess, and we failed to rectify it. Try and win the next couple of games, consolidate mid table until January then buy a new team.

Yeah we stuck Cahill up top in dire times under Moyes - Rooney would be the equivalent but he clearly has a free role.

Next four games are massive now. Results wise I expected us to lose vs Chelsea, Spurs and Man Utd and the Man City point was a bonus. The performances have been shocking but if there's a silver lining to that it's that id rather we were poor in games I expect us to lose anyway rather then in games we should be winning. All four games coming at home and all four are matchs we should be looking to win convincingly, these games will be make it break time for Koeman imo.

Worryingly very much like Martinez ,strange team selections , unable or unwilling to change a system that isn't working, and players wanting to jump ship.
Don't think he is in danger of the sack but he has a lot to do to turn this around and restore some faith in him.

Agree with everything but i think he is in danger now.

My question is how can our defence get worse despite us adding to it?

The worry is shifting and now we look like a team who will concede every week and struggle to score the other end. Even against stoke we didn't look good for the win, despite many of us papering over that. We are bottom 3 now deservedly and I worry when we can even climb out of it the way things are going
