Ronald Koeman discussion

I heard a fan on 5 live comparing our situation to the Martinez one. I think we are some way from that situation. I remember last season we went on a 10 game winless run with the getting beat by teams such as. Bournemouth, Swansea and Watford along the way. These teams included Barkley and Lukaku so the problem presently isn't a simple one to solve. I admit we have a problem presently but squad wise we are in better shape now than in previous years. It may take until Christmas again for Koeman to find the correct recipe and I agree the team requires more shape but we need to stick together and I'm confident we will win the Bournemouth game. I also hope kenny gets an opportunity on Wednesday to stake his claim as our 1st choice right back.

Disagree. Not with the facts about winless games but the squad being better.

We have one defender good enough for top 6 football. We have no identifiable wingers and certainly none good enough for the top 6. We have a mis-match of skill sets in the middle of the park but none of them have the qualities to control games. And the obvious one; no striker of any sort of quality

Well, I did say I didn't want him and I did warn everyone

Think Unsworth should be promoted myself and walsh in charge of transfers, perhaps that's the idea at the end of koemans deal

I don't think this is all on Koeman though.

He has made some dodgy decisions and yes that's his fault.

But the board have also failed him in two key areas as well, and the questions have to be asked why.
Now it's about getting back to form.

Man Utd are on a completely different level to us.

Their current squad cost in excess of £500million and they're aiming for the title, while our squad cost half that and we're aiming for a successive top ten finish for the first time since the 2012/13 season.

The questions are;

1 -- Was Koeman forcing players in...such as Cuco, Klaassen etc and Moshiri allowed this

2 -- Has Koeman rejected players who walsh has put forward, and if he has, why

3 -- Even with a forward and another defender we went after some strange signings, what is the strategy

That may all be true but it's now Koeman's job to turn this around. Nothing Walsh, Kenwright, the board or Moshiri do now will make any difference. We are where we are and Koeman has got to sort it.

No one knows except the board members and Koeman/Walsh themselves. Your assumptions are all speculation.

We've had the hardest start of any team in the premier league

we bought no striker

our best defender and attacking threat down the right is out since March

lot of problems all at once.
