Ronald Koeman discussion

We've had the hardest start of any team in the premier league

we bought no striker

our best defender and attacking threat down the right is out since March

lot of problems all at once.

Chelsea 2 - Burnley 3
Burnley 0 - WBA - 1
Spurs 1 - Burnley 1
Burnley 1 - C Palace 0
Liverpool 1 - Burnley 0

Burnley did pretty well with a similar fixture list.

And they haven't spent £200mill

But they have not sold their 25 goals striker without replacing him.

See if they will finish above us.

What I'm struggling with most , is that I was very happy up until the summer break. I was annoyed with signings over the break but I trusted him. Too many midfielders when we desperately needed a rb, cb, fwd, lb . Really worried now

That may all be true but it's now Koeman's job to turn this around. Nothing Walsh, Kenwright, the board or Moshiri do now will make any difference. We are where we are and Koeman has got to sort it.

I agree 100%.

Weirdly enough, right up until the second Utd goal today, it looked like we were really turning a corner with our performance. All it lacked was cutting edge.

Rooney went off (hmmm) and it all fell apart with that Williams mistake...

I really can't believe we finally got some money in and handed control to this guy. This is all currently a wasted opportunity and just time lost.

He will get some results and turn this around, but he shouldn't even have been in there in the first place. First step in a supposed new era and it stank of no ambition.

I can only assume they went for a safe pair of hands to stabilise us, as it really worries me for the next appointment if whoever was involved in choosing him actually thought they were getting a really good manager to take us up a level.

Every appointment is a gamble, but we just went for the sure thing.....as in sure to keep us up and around the best of the rest and no more.

I want to repeatedly kick Everton in the balls.

The questions are;

1 -- Was Koeman forcing players in...such as Cuco, Klaassen etc and Moshiri allowed this - not really. Klaassen was a target of both, and will be good/useful for us. He isn't a bad player, this notion he is needs to stop. Martina is fine when used properly (as he was today) - albeit I'd prefer Kenny.

2 -- Has Koeman rejected players who walsh has put forward, and if he has, why - I don't believe so. And having found out something rather worrying lately (if true) both Koeman and Walsh have been let down in terms of a majorly key acquisition.

3 -- Even with a forward and another defender we went after some strange signings, what is the strategy - this is true
