banned because some cryass's grassed him upto mods for being disruptive.

In truth as much as sometimes his posts are interesting he doesn't half interrupt a lot of other threads on here.

Thanks for clearing that up....I like his posts, think its generally correct in what he says in terms of a viewpoint.

Pity he cant bend Koemans ear...that bloke just seems afraid of change...

Sad to hear mate. Our dog died last month, we are proper gutted. They are part of the family.
Thanx mate and I'm sorry to hear that. If you need to talk mate I'm here. I vented on here after I lost him last year and I found it helped me with the support of others.

Cheers mate, appreciate that.

He hadn't been well for a few years to be fair, he was never out of the vets, and although we knew he wouldn't be around forever, it's cut us up, especially the kids and missus.

They're are family mate and no matter what it hurts us as we've lost a small part of that. Times a healer but we're all different
Matt mate I know you loved your dog like nothing else, but can we try to stay on topic please lads.

Another stubborn idiot, sooner he goes the better then we can at least get a manager in who actually plays the team in the correct positions and drops the old guard who are passed it.

Actually he said a week before the window closed that if we wanted to compete at the top of the table we needed a Striker and a left sided CB.
And what are the problems right now? Bingo.

Think he also was interested in an outside player with pace, but he made it pretty obvious it was a striker and a CB that could cover for Baines.

“I read the United program and my colleague [Mourinho] said about Everton spending £140 million and so they need to go for the top four,” Koeman said.

“If there’s anybody in this room and outside and sees this as something realistic for us, please comment.

“Be realistic. I’m not happy how we started the season, but please be a bit realistic about Everton. We need time, but it’s difficult in football.”

Mourinho the optimist vs Ron the pessimist. With an attitude like that we will never be top four. If he had signed the right players and maybe kept Rom we could EASILY be top four. But he is negative and talks negativly about our players in the press and I don't see how we can get top four with that type of attitude. Not to mention his dull tactics, unbalanced formations and questionable substitutions.

I disagree. Man u clearly stopped pressing after the first goal, which gave us space to play better.

They didn't though.

They hammered us until bout the 15th minute because we were too deep.

We pressed out an extra 5 yards and had that half-chance for Rooney, and managed to get a bit of a foothold in the game.

United may have let off a tad, but we at least took advantage by pressing out and generally looked dangerous.

The subs were poor. They weren't negative, but Davies was the wrong player to take off, as was Gana.

But you can understand the logic in taking off two midfielders for two forwards when you're 1-0 down.

I'd like to know what Holgate has done wrong. 3/5 at the back is a good system as long as you have at least one ball player who can step out & change defence into attack. A Stones or Luis type. Koeman's 1st game last season, away at West Brom, we started with Holgate. He's got the qualities to be that player. When we signed Keane, he looked like the perfect upgrade on an aging Jags/Williams, but instead, he's replaced Holgate & were left with a slow aging back line that doesn't have that dimension.
