Ronald Koeman discussion

If you could not try and shoehorn Sigurdsson, Klaassen & Rooney into the same team again this season that would be great Ronald.

Deserved credit for the Niasse sub with Sandro being on the bench. Also think we've reached the stage where Davies should be starting over one of Gueye/Schneiderlin, especially in that type of fixture.

Staggering to think that Oumar was the 2nd longest serving player (in terms of time since debut) in the side yesterday and how obviously all the non Koeman players (especially those signed by the club) have been side lined in one way or another.

Moyes era: - (Jags) Baines (Coleman) (Barkley) (Mirallas) (Garbutt)
Martinez: - (McCarthy) (Robles) (Besic) (Browning) (Dowell) (Jones) (Lennon) (Galloway) (Pennington) (RFM) Niasse Davies (Connolly) Kenny
Koeman: - (Stek*) Gueye Holgate (Bolasie) Williams DCL Schneiderlin (Lookman*) Rooney Klaassen Pickford (Onyekuru) (Ramirez*) (Keane) Martina, Siggurdssson (Vlasic*)

* unused sub

The difference in reaction was very stark.

The MOTD commentator actually commented, in relation to Dunc's celebration, "look what it means to the "Evertonians" as Koeman stood looking perplexed in the foreground.

In fairness to Koeman though, he was was a' hootin' an' a' hollerin' and punching the air with the best of them after the second went in :dance:

To be fair I'm not sure I want my manager running down the line going mental when there are still over ten minutes left. That's more than enough time for everton to snatch a 4-2 loss from the jaws of victory.

Koeman's body language after Niasse's first goal was strange, especially when contrasted with Duncan's, walked away and looked almost disappointed.

yeah, he was quite happy when the second went in, in fairness. Tbf, i don't really want a manager going bananas for celebrating an equaliser at home to bournemouth. Think dunc was really happy for niasse.

If that was to happen its surely in place of Schneiderlin as he's forgotten how to play football since his wedding.

Hoping that Benching Sandro was the beginning of him realising/acting on it. There's a 'straight in' player, (Pickford/Keane/ arguably Rooney) and a 'transitional' player (Everybody else he's brought in?).
