Yep, it all started off so well - focusing on holes, GK, CB, a potential box to box and Sandro (potential and cheap). My issue purely stands with the chase of Gylfi - we focused far to long on him while ignoring the other needs, then panicked when we didn't get a striker in (Giroud agreement or not).
We should have drew the line under Gylfi until later in the window, and concentrated on what we needed.
The problem that I have is, surely through all the window Koeman and Walsh where talking and saying well the team needs to set up like this and how we move forward. We have seen 0 consistency in the team, and the players themselves don't know what they are doing.
I am not saying its the same, but I watched the match, watched from a very close position at the weekend and the players ignore Koeman for 90% of the game - its starting to reek of Martinez last few matches.
