What if we beat Leicester then get beat in the following game

He needs to go pronto.

...I honestly don’t see how we can beat Leicester. I hope i’m wrong, but I can see them scoring at least a couple of goals against us. Our goal difference is -11 which is a massive indicator of how the team is set up defensively and how impotent we are as an attacking force.

The league doesn’t lie after 10 games and I think we’ve played 9.

He did a lot weong last season also. Last season was bang average. I was of the opinion in the summer that his job should be on the line if there was no improvement but we have massively regressed.
And the apologists for him were saying the summer was his first proper window in which to make his mark on the side.
Well he's certainly achieved that alright.

...if a team plays 3 CBs your wing backs are proactive in the opposition top third. Look at how effective Alonso and Moses are at Chelsea, regularly getting behind the opposition full backs and creating. Compare that with Baines and Kenny yesterday who rarely crossed the half way line. The reality is we play with a back 5. It’s no real foundation to build a side on.

RKs post match interview was almost defeatist, like it’s only a matter of time before a team like Arsenal punish you when you’re down to 10, but that doesn’t have to be the case. Set your team up right and 10 men are difficult to break down. Watching the body language at the match gave me the impression that the managers lack of belief is impacting the players.

I wouldn’t want Moyes back but at least the players were drilled, everybody knew their jobs and the team was organised. Newcastle don’t have outstanding individuals but Benitez has got them organised, difficult to beat and they are picking up points. Similar with Silva at Watford.

I’m embarrassed how naively our team are organised. I am embarrassed how poorly they are being coached. I’m embarrassed with the lack of belief being installed.
It's awful how poor we are without the ball, most if not every other team you can see the systems they defend with where as our team look lost. You can tell where the opposition is going to attack 3 passes before they do just by seeing how out of position our players are.

Normally managers have a preferred formation then sign players to fit said formation with a few extra players to allow tactical tweaks mid game.

Koeman however signed players then realised he doesn’t know what formation he likes so now is just trying every possible option hoping one of them sticks.

We need a manager with a very clear idea on how he likes to play football.

..it does seem that way which also makes me start questioning Steve Walsh. I would expect the DoF to agree the playing strategy with the Coach and (as you say) bring players in to fit the system.

..it’s a very good point. One of the Arsenal goals came via a couple of passes after Vlasic turned and had an opening at the Gwladys St End. As you say, when we lost possession you could almost see a route to our goal and Arsenal exploited it.

He's been that bad I've admitted to something I thought I'd never say, I'd have Benitez here in a heartbeat.

Are you going to apologise to @davek and admit he was right.

I think you are very strange. Do you have something else to do? On more than one occasion you said the same thing. Are you bored?

So I am going to repeat it one more time. No. Why should I? Is he going to apologise to anyone because he got it wrong in last October till the end of last season and that Koeman got 7th? Add to the fact he never admit he got it absolutely wrong on his idol Bobby. Shall I go around like kids and ask someone to apologise?

I didn’t have a drink yesterday,I went bed early, feel as low as a snakes belly button today and I look on Twitter and there are pictures of Koeman having a great night out in Manchester, all smiles not a care in the world!

I think thats the msin prob is the constant changing of firnation an players still out of position.
Correct. I could understand Koeman trying out a few different combinations to a point but right now we need a bit of consistency. Just choose a formation and stick with it. Players will learn their roles properly and start to understand the players around them more.

Just admit " You got it wrong, and @davek was right "

Be the bigger man and admit the error of your ways, then you can begin to heal.
