From Greg O'Keeffe who's now at BBC Sport.

Consider this alarming statistic for Everton and Koeman.

Four of the five defenders who started for the Toffees on Sunday failed to win a single tackle.

As a world-class defender in his own playing days, surely Koeman must be doing something about such fundamental weaknesses?!

Just admit " You got it wrong, and @davek was right "

Be the bigger man and admit the error of your ways, then you can begin to heal.

It’s 9am in UK get to work Moomin.

You’re laughable. He got it wrong on Koeman last season and he got it absolutely wrong on Martinez. Yea go around like kids, moan and ask someone to apologise. This is fun.

What time is in icantadmitiwaswrong land??

Think this could be the last week for Koeman here, he just never cared for the club like Martinez did.

Ok you ignore things that you can’t answer so do you think he got it wrong on Martinez and Koeman last season? That’s 4 years in total. Take one year out for the holy grail season if you want.

You are deluded if you believe in Bobby’s words.

He's trying to be funny and wind you up mate, stop raising to the bait FFS! it's like a playground in here.

Though I appreciate it isn't life or death, imagine having nothing better to do than to try and wind other Evertonians up at a time when the club is in absolute turmoil. It's cringeworthy and not even remotely funny.

I know Thomas. He is, as always.

47 games why, when the last fella can only win in his first season. This ain’t subjective. This does not reflect the reality. I’ll do the maths again.

Moyes 173 wins out of 427 PL games = 40.52%
Martinez 43 wins out of 113 PL games = 38.05%
Koeman 19 wins out of 47 PL games = 40.43%

In fairness though, one very good season + one poor season + one absolutely crap season is better than one okay season followed by being bombed out in your second season with the team in the relegation zone and looking close to the worst in the league.

Maybe if somebody could let Ron know that he is going to leave here being rated as worse than RM and the worst manager we have had since Walter he might actually buck his ideas up and sort us out. Surely he will want to do better than a manager he was making snide references to when he started out here?

Hopefully the next guy is installed quickly, is great and we can quickly forget the last 3 seasons and the crap bit of this one.

Last season wasn't that bad mate. I know it wasn't exactly swashbuckling stuff, but there were some highs, such as beating Man City 4-0, the run of form from Christmas until about April.

A laughable and farcical statistic but unfortunately it's not too unsurprising as they simply opened us up with the utmost of ease yesterday.

As have most teams if we're being truly honest; it's easy to highlight our poor attacking options, but that doesn't negate weaknesses elsewhere.

Remove Pickford from the situation, who has been one of the shining lights in a woeful campaign, and we're weak in all other parts of the pitch.

That's why I believe that Koeman's tenure is surely to come to an end very soon, as there's no real areas where we can even expect improvement.

Our defence is currently shockingly inept (in the mainstay), our midfield has been poor bar a few players/performances and there's nothing up top.

More grim reading. Especially Pickford's one
