Reality I'm afraid, it's the reason why I don't watch them anymore, I'm sick of seeing them battering everyone and Klopp running up and down the touch line.
Well they are hardly damning Koeman with that comment. I'm not overly impressed by our performances so far either, although I know it doesn't mean a thing when just 11 games in.
Can't help but feel we are going to jump on to the managerial roundabout a few times over the next few seasons, which would be a big change for us. Can't take to Koeman even though I loved him as a player...just find it hard to be overly arsed when he might toddle off at any point.
With the two crap seasons we have had and now this meh feeling about the new boss it's hard to get excited. Really hoping the good stuff is going to be in the actions of the new owner.

Genuine mate, the idea is for us to get as many points as possible with the tools at hand, when we start falling below expectation I'd expect there to be a fume, but fuming whilst we are doing ok in the infancy of the 'project' reeks of agendas that aren't being admitted to, couple that with the fact the majority of those think we had a terrible window, then that can only lead to the question 'well WTF were you expecting then?'
Like I say I'm all for fuming, but from the depths we've been at £4£ when considering our squad over the past few years to other clubs, this should be a time where Evertonians are happy or at the very least content. Which to those that are not and especially those that revelled in genuine Evertonian dismay last year.....well it does pose the question, doesn't it?

I think fair. I am trying to get an article up about our start. One point is that our results have been good far more than the performances.
You can look at that two ways. Either we have been lucky and be caught out. Or there is more to come and how good will we be when we start to get the players on Koeman wants? I think thats the debate to be had in this.
When it was good under Martinez it was almost perfect. The problem was we had to be perfect to win.
I'd normally only put them on if they might lose or unexpectedly draw...or were already losing. I gave that up after that Norwich game that Naismith scored in. Don't watch them at all now. Dave is right to hope Ancelotti fails and Bayern come calling for klopp

He is right and I agree 100% I'd swap Koeman any day of the week with Klopp, but what's that got to do with Koeman and Everton's progression?

We're a step up (in terms of stature, not necessarily quality as it stands) from S'ton.
But he'll have to win something with us/qualify for CL a few times, to get to a 'bigger' job.
I wouldn't.

It makes no sense, if he does the toddling then he's been a success, so Evertonians are happy, if we toddle him off he's been a failure.
Cmon Ian. This whole tit for tat between you two understandably started with your version of being a proper evertonian in our last managers first couple of seasons. There was no patience for the 'project' back then. Like I've said before I think you two have just agreed to reverse the roles behind the scenes and keep the circus going

Each to their own mate, doesn't mean I don't rate Koeman, but Klopp and his style of play have been really good (unfortunately) I'm still harbouring hopes that he can't get the to do it over a 38 game PL season, as he struggled to a Dortmund despite a less competitive league and 4 games per season less.
