I don't think the point is that it's bad management...at least it shouldn't be. It was practical and got a draw in what you would say is the toughest fixture in the league, but we shouldn't forget they had the chances to bury us even though we apparently set up to be solid.
The point is, for me, that we should attempt to be more in the game against such opposition and not offer up possession so easily through such direct balls to the front. That however, is just my personal preference, and maybe we will see that kind of performance once Ronald Van Der Koeman has been here a bit longer and extricated the crap from our squad.
For me it's like when Trapattoni started with Ireland. I knew I wasn't going to like it one bit and wouldn't enjoy watching us again until he left but I couldn't call it bad management in any way as we knew what his style/tactics were when he signed up. I just didn't bloody like it...at all.
Although I am not anywhere near as certain as that in regards to what is to come under Koeman, and remain hopeful of some nice surprises along the way.
