we've never had somebody with his international profile n such a position at the club.
I think we're lucky to have him - especially after Martinez or did you enjoy us playing like a bunch of clueless idiots only to lose and have the manager tells us how phenomenal we were. You talk about the mauling from Chelsea (who were incredible on the day) like Roberto didn't present us with two - i repeat TWO 4-0 thrashings from that lot across the park.In the past 7 games we've won one and suffered a mauling that the rest of the country have only just stopped cringing about on our behalf. The season so far has been played for the most part with sterile football.
I'm not sure we should feel lucky to have that.
BBC2 tonight @ 10.When is this interview? Football focus on Saturday?
You think Koeman can do what Klopp has done? They are completely different managers and wont get the same out of players.I think we're lucky to have him - especially after Martinez or did you enjoy us playing like a bunch of clueless idiots only to lose and have the manager tells us how phenomenal we were. Can you name a better manager we should have gone for?
Koeman's been in charge less than 6 month. He's trying to completely change the mentality of a team who have, for the last 3 seasons been totally mismanaged with a very unbalanced squad. What are you expecting, overnight success? Instant change? these things take time. It's taken Klopp a year to get that lot to play his way and at his pace and they're not gifted with worldies like City or Barca but they've bought into his way of thinking. I'm optimistic Koeman will do the same.
Is the whole interview anywhere on the BBC site right now?
Biggest problem he has is getting players like Mirallas and Barkley, who after 3 seasons of not having to worry about running around, to actually play the way he wants to by pressing from the front and Gareth Barry with hardly any legs trying to press in a couple of weeks/months will be painful to watch. I will allow Koeman time to implement the way he wants to play on the team and make my judgement then. In the mean time I never want to see Snivs and Barry in the centre of midfield together ever againOh yeah, it needs a transfusion of new talent. But the tools he has to hand could be better used imo.
hes the best we could get, I think the least we can do is give him a chance to succeed. Like we did with RobertoI wish he was a superstar manager we hired rather than a superstar ex-player.
If the team can buy into his way of thinking why not. He got a tune out of a Southampton team hardly blessed with great talent. You think Koeman can do what Klopp has done? They are completely different managers and wont get the same out of players.
Personally I've no prob with RK telling the truth about Liverpool or his long term managerial aspirations. It doesn't hurt the club.
Does anyone have any proof that he's on £6m a year?

that report and some others said £7m a year. Makes sense that Moshiri would offer to double his £3.5m at Soton.
