The team needs to be winning games and going bat out of hell before he shows up again. Thats how I feel.

Why would saying 'be careful what you wish for' be controversial?

Surely - they were warning that things could go from bad to worse?


Surely its all about getting someone in who will ensure that Everton win trophies.

Not sure what all the fuss is about on here at the moment.

Because when the comment was made, everybody but the club could see Martinez HAD to go, yet they towed the party line and backed him to an extent.

Of course, they have to tow the party line but it rubbed a lot of people the wrong way as they were being rather hypocritical stating they wanted the very best yet if we had to make a necessary change that it may be worse than what we are ready had (which was actually rather difficult)

Really don't get the problem with the club's Ambassadors selling the club to the new manager. Take them all out for a nice meal, welcome them to the area and spin a few stories about the old days.
