Oviedo would probably pull his hamstring while he walks into said midtable PL team. His leg break wrecked him. He's turbo gash now and a shadow of the talent he appeared to be,
He can slot in and hold the fort to a decent level. A squad player.

we have literally played 3 good sides this season. Chelsea put 5 past us, city should have put 5 past us and Spurs on the first day of the season.

Remember when the no mark clubs were piling in the goals last year? Bournemouth got 3, Stoke got 4, Sunderland got 3. This year in the same fixtures, a total of 1.

Just wondered - remember when we absolutely bullied Spurs on the opening day? Where did that type of performance go? I remember our high press being absolutely outstanding, they couldn't string 2 passes together and we were making chance after chance while playing some good football too. We could've arguably won it as well.

There was none of that sitting deep, winning it back before walloping it to Lukaku/Bolasie to chest it out to the wings, rinse and repeat tripe.

If we go back to that day it shows us that we likely do have the players capable of a great performance - but the Spurs game and the last 20 minutes of the United game are the only ones where we've actually put one in. Really wonder why we can't put great performances in every week.
