They're only paying about £15m for him. I happen to think he's quite underrated and will be quite a loss for them myself.

Maybe. Bayern want £35m for him. He's what, 30? I am not sure he's a massive upgrade on Wijnaldum in the premier league, it's a very physical league and THiao is not the most physical of players.

They will need to now play through Thiago rather than bypassing the tackle machines in the middle.

Sounds like a good idea on paper to mix tactics around by adding another threat.

I reckon he'd be struggling to adapt + no break over xmas. Lots of games quickly.

I've always been quite impressed with Wijnaldum when I've seen him. Plays well in big games for them as well. Maybe Thiago is great, on paper I'm sure he is but it feels an odd fit to me. Are they going to play him as a number 10?

I would imagine so, or a deep playmaker.

Cant see him playing as many as Wijnaldum so they would need a kid coming through or another signing.

They like Jones and till wax lyrical about Keita. I'm not sure either give them what Wijnaldum does on a consistent basis.
