No he would be a terrible idea, short term he would get the players fit and drilled, we would be hard to beat, long term he would bang his head constantly on that glass ceiling yet again, even with the money, hes flawed and the majority of the fanbase despises him, but looking at our league placing currently I can see Kenwrong thinking him the "right choice".
Who’s your choice?

He didn't have that at Mainz though, and a club that Klopp failed to keep up, he established them as a stable mid/top 7 team

Not one person thought Aubameyang was a world class striker until Tuchel became his manager btw mate, he was regarded as a good one yeah, but was under Tuchel that he practically doubled his goals per game, 41 in 94 for the two seasons under Klopp, 79 in 95 under Tuchel

Aye, but I can't see DCL being that guy either...

Auba didn't exactly have a bad starting point.

But I'd take him in a heartbeat - he's actually my first choice for the job and I think we should be all over him.

Said it the other day and I'll say it again - if it isn't going to be a top pick ala Ancelotti or Tuchel then we should just hand Unsworth the reigns until such time as we can land one.

Sack this talk of Moyes/Big Sam/Dyche/Howe right off. We need to start bringing the top dogs in if we're ever going to hope to do anything.

Whenever I watched them, I always thought his Dortmund side were like us under Martinez, good going forward but highly suspect at the back

I never get that feeling with Loew's Germany. Yes, they are hardly mizerley at the back, but I never sense that same fragility

We'll see what happens anyway, but I'm not sold on Tuchel at all

That Liverpool Europa League tie in particular was classic Bobby (And not in a good way)

To be honest, the fact I have to hard sell a World Cup winning Germany manager who beat Brazil 7-1 in their own backyard kind of baffles me
What on earth are you droning on about?

Talking sense there Mountfield. Unlike a lot of ex players for other clubs, you can always hear how respectful ours are and how passionate they are. You could tell he didn't like Koeman but put it in a respectful way.

I've always loved that about the majority of our ex players, it's still "we" "we're" "us" but done on a respectful way.
That little cockney beaut Cottee, referred to us as they, never could take to him.

Same as martinez. I though koeman would have learnt from that. One cannot be stubborn and keep playing with a system that does not work. One needs to be able to adapt. Both didnt. Both got the sack.

Which is fair and square. What he did in last season is minimum requirement.

Losing to Burnley at home etc is unacceptable. 8 points from 9 games is quite pathatic.
